A big part of the territory of the Sobrarbe Region is integrated in three natural areas that protect their ecologic richness: the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido ( A\u00f1isclo Valley, Pineta Valley, Ordesa Valley, the Gorge of Escuain…), the Natural Park of Posets Maladeta and the Natural Park of the Sierra y Ca\u00f1ones de Guara. The traditional gastronomy and the interesting spots share the outstanding monumental richness of the villages and the beauty of the landscape. A privileged place, an attractive natural surrounding that allows choosing the many activities that are offered: walks, excursions, adventure sports, cultural routes or touristic routes.<\/h4>\n
You can dedicate your time in going for a walk into a beautiful nature that is easy to enter. In each season there will be other colours, lights and forms, and the wind, the water and the sun are perfect landscape \u201cbuilders\u201d. You can also decide to find something with a bigger effort and practice a mountain sport like canyoning, rafting, skiing, etc…, or get to know better the National Park of Ordesa or one of the two closest Natural Parks: the Posets Maladeta and the Sierra y Ca\u00f1ones de Guara.<\/h4>\n

It\u2019s an ideal destination to do different activities in the open air. Other possibilities on offer in the region include visiting the nearby villages, like our home town of Ainsa, where you can walk on the paved streets and admire the lovely monuments that transmit the medieval period; Bolta\u00f1a, where you can get lost in the streets and spots of the biggest old town of the region; Bielsa, a village that\u2019s very close to the border of France; the valley of La Fueva, formed by small villages and hamlets that are still not completely discovered; or the valley of Chistau, whose population is saving the traditional taste and habits that they have maintained over the years.<\/h4>\n
Those who love good cooking will find this location suits them well, because the traditional gastronomy here is of a very high standard and full of character.
